San Jacinto, CA (June 28, 2024) On Thursday morning, a deadly hit-and-run crash on San Jacinto Avenue claimed the life of a pedestrian.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 3 a.m. on San Jacinto Avenue south of Shaver Street.

Reports say that a vehicle fatally struck a pedestrian in the middle of the roadway. Officials say that the driver allegedly fled the scene but was later ultimately arrested by deputies.
