AUSTIN, TX (October 4, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a brutal hit-and-run crash on MoPac Expressway Service Road near Duval Road killed one person.

Reports revealed that the incident happened at around 1:33 a.m. on MoPac Expressway Service Road, between Parmer Lane and Duval Road.

According to the Austin Police Department, a vehicle struck a pedestrian then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the victim died in the crash.
