Dallas, TX (December 9, 2023) On Thursday evening, a man was killed and another driver was hurt after a hit-and-run crash on Mentor Avenue.

According to authorities, the fatal 2-vehicle collision happened around 10:15 p.m. on the the 1600 block of Mentor Avenue.

Reports say that a male driver was fleeing a scene of a crash involving his van, then ran a stop sign and eventually colided with a truck at Mentor Avenue and Frio Drive.

Authorities say that the man was pronounced dead at the scene while the other driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Officials are investigating the fatal crash.
