1 Dead in South Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident on Martin Luther King Boulevard and Gramercy Place
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (December 27, 2023) – Saturday night, a brutal hit-and-run crash on Martin Luther King Boulevard and Gramercy Place killed 1 person.
The incident happened at about 6:45 p.m. near the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Gramercy Place, said the Los Angeles Police Department.
Reports said that a white sedan struck a 61-year-old woman who was pushing a walker. Then, the driver escaped the scene.
Meanwhile, responders took the woman to a hospital where she later succumbed to injuries. Her identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
Paramedics transported the woman to a hospital, where she later died. Her identification was withheld pending notification of relatives.
Los Angeles is providing a reward of up to $50,000 for any information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect.
