Waco, TX (November 25, 2023) On November 12, Saturday evening, a person was injured and was rushed to the hospital after a hit-and-run crash on Homan Avenue.

The Waco Police Department says that the auto-pedestrian crash happened around 11:40 p.m. near the 2400 Block of Homan Avenue.

Reports say that a blue or gray 2019-2022 Volkswagen Jetta struck a person and the fled the scene before authorities arrived.

Medics transported the injured man to the hospital.

Authorities are searching for the suspect driver and vehicle who remains at large.
