1 Person Hurt in Sequim Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101 near Simdars Road
SEQUIM, WA (October 10, 2024) – Tuesday night, a crippling hit-and-run crash on Highway 101 near Simdars Road injured one person.
The incident happened at around 11:05 p.m. on Highway 101 near Simdars Road.
According to the Washington Police Department, a westbound vehicle struck a male pedestrian who was in the westbound lanes of the highway. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
Moreover, responders airlifted the man to a hospital with unknown injuries.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
