Horrifc Hit-and-Run Crash on Feather River Boulevard Kills Pedestrian [Oroville, CA]

Oroville, CA (December 31, 2023) On Friday evening, a horrific hit-and-run crash on Feather River Boulevard left a pedestrian lifeless.

According to Oroville police, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 11:37 p.m. at 2690 Feather River Boulevard near the area of the Feather River Cinemas.

Reports say that a female pedestrian was found unconscious and lying on the west shoulder of Feather River Blvd, despite life-saving measures by rescuers, the woman was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say that damaged vehicle parts were found on scene and suspects a silver-colored vehicle struck the female pedestrian and fled the scene before authorities arrived at the scene.

Police are investigating the fatal crash and are searching for the suspect driver and vehicle who remains at large.
