Police Arrested Everett Sailor in Fatal Pedestrian Collision on Evergreen Way

Everett, WA (March 4, 2023) – On Wednesday evening, a hit-and-run crash on Evergreen Way left a pedestrian dead.

According to the responding officers, the fatal pedestrian collision unfolded at around 10:15 p.m. in the 4900 block of Evergreen Way.

Witnesses stated that a blue Ford Mustang hit the pedestrian, stopped, and then fled south. 

The authorities later spotted the suspect vehicle, a 2017 two-door car. The vehicle displayed a freshly shattered rear window and heavy damage to the front bumper.

Apparently, the driver initially denied the hit-and-run crash, however, after being read his rights the driver ultimately admitted the incident.

Furthermore, authorities handling this incident said that the suspect driver’s last known address was listed aboard the USS Kidd, a naval vessel stationed in Everett.

Meanwhile, the Everett police

held the suspect in Snohomish County Jail for investigation of a hit-and-run in a fatality.

In court Thursday, prosecutors asked Everett District Court Judge Tam Bui to set bail at $100,000 to which the judge agreed.
