Female Pedestrian Hurt in Hit-and-Run Crash on Appleway Boulevard [Spokane Valley, WA]

Spokane Valley, WA (July 15, 2023) On Wednesday morning, a woman was seriously hurt after a hit-and-run crash on Appleway Boulevard.

The Spokane Valley Police Department (SVPD), that the hit-and-run accident happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection with Dishman Road.

Reports say that a vehicle struck and injured a female pedestrian, then fled the scene after the collision. Officials say that the suspect driver did not stop at a stop sign before the crash.

Medics transported the injured woman to a hospital, the female victim is expected to recover.

Meanwhile, authorities are actively searching for the suspect driver and vehicle, described as a brown and gold 1995 to 2003 Chevrolet Malibu or Chevrolet Classic with five-spoke wheels. Officials say there may be damages on the vehicle’s right front and/or passenger side.

Police are investigating the hit-and-run accident.
