Hit-and-Run Crash on Alameda Avenue Injures Motorcyclist [El Paso, TX]

El Paso, TX (October 29, 2023) On Friday evening, a motorcycle rider was hurt and hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on Alameda Avenue.

According to the El Paso Police Department, the 2-vehicle collision happened around 7:45 p.m. on the 9900 block of Alameda Avenue near Nevarez Road.

Reports say that when a van cut in front of a motorcyclist approaching Nevarez Road, the motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the van. Officials say that the van fled north on Nevarez Road, leaving the injured motorcyclist behind.

Medics rushed the injured victim to the hospital.

Authorities are searching for the suspect driver and vehicle, described as an older model gold or brown colored mini-van similar to a Dodge Caravan or Chrysler Town and Country. Moreover, the van will have front right side damage.

El Paso Police Department is investigating the 2-vehicle collision.
