Be A Responsible Driver
When behind the wheel, it is advisable to scan the road ahead, ideally within a range of half a mile to a full mile. This proactive approach allows you to anticipate and identify potential hazards in a timely manner. Our bodies were not evolutionarily designed for the speeds at which modern vehicles travel, especially at 50 mph.
Our bodies allow only for speeds of less than 10 mph. Therefore, it is essential to consciously overcome this natural instinct and train yourself to focus on the road farther ahead. By doing so, you enhance your ability to react promptly to changing road conditions, contributing to a safer driving experience for yourself and others on the road.
