Tragic Hit-and-Run Crash on 105th Avenue Boulevard Kills Cyclist [Oakland, CA]

Oakland, CA (June 22, 2024) Early Friday morning, a male bicyclist was killed in a horrific hit-and-run crash on 105th Avenue Boulevard.

According to the Oakland Police Department, the fatal collision happened just past midnight on the 500 block of 105th Avenue Boulevard.

Reports say that a silver Saturn sedan traveling at high speed fatally struck a man riding a bicycle.

First responders arrived at the scene and found the man down on the road and unresponsive, ultimately officials declared the man dead at the scene.

Witnesses say that the driver of the Saturn, briefly stopped to removed the man’s bicycle under their vehicle and the fled southbound.

Authorities are investigating the fatal hit-and-run crash and are searching for the suspect driver and their vehicle who remains at large.
