Laredo Police Searching for Hit-and-Run Driver in Crash on Plum Street
Laredo, TX (February 2, 2024) On Thursday morning, a horrific hit-and-run crash near Nixon High School on Lyon by Ruiz Meat Market left an 18-year-old hospitalized.
According to Laredo Police, the auto-pedestrian crash happened at about 8 a.m. on Plum Street near the Laredo ISD school.
Reports say that a white Dodge pick-up truck struck the female student and the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid to the fallen woman.
Medics rushed the injured 18-year-old woman to LMC in stable condition.
Police are investigating the auto-pedestrian crash and have not released further information at this time.
