At approximately 5:30 PM, officers from the Albuquerque Police Department and emergency medical personnel from Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a crash at Central and Louisiana.

A caller reported that a vehicle had struck a pedestrian. When APD officers arrived, they discovered that the silver Jeep involved in the incident was possibly stolen, and the driver had already fled the scene.

The pedestrian, who had been hit, also chose to leave the area before receiving medical care from AFR.
