Rider Dies in Highway 70 Motorcycle Crash
Oroville, CA (July 17, 2021) – On Thursday, a rider died in Highway 70 hit-and-run crash.
The fatal incident happened at approximately 9:50 p.m. north of Feather River Boulevard.
Apparently, a driver in an unknown vehicle was southbound on the freeway, when for unknown reasons, the driver crossed into northbound lanes.
As a result, the driver crashed with a motorcyclist who lost control and collided into the guardrail.
Unfortunately, the motorcyclist died in the incident.
The suspect vehicle continued driving in the southbound lane and hasn’t been located since the incident.
Meanwhile, the CHP is investigating the fatal incident.
