Jena Osorio Arrested after Hit-And-Run Crash at 302 E Hawkeye Avenue in Turlock
Turlock, CA (July 6, 2023) – On Tuesday, police arrested 36-year-old Jena Osorio after a hit-and-run crash at 302 E Hawkeye Avenue, Brentwood Apartments.
The crash happened on July 4 at 11:55 am.
When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they found a gray 2006 Scion xA that had been struck by a woman driving a gray 2013 Mazda Mazda3, who then ran over a person’s foot as she fled.
The person whose foot had been run over only suffered minor injuries.
An officer went to Denair to try and find the gray Mazda3 that had returned, which was registered to a house there.
The car was stopped at the crossroads of E Taylor Rd. and N Sperry Rd. when the officer spotted it traveling down N Sperry Rd.
After speaking with the car’s 36-year-old Denair resident driver, Jena Osorio, the officer was able to confirm through his investigation that she had been operating the vehicle at the time of both crashes.
Osorio was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of fleeing the scene of an accident resulting in injury or death to another person.
It’s currently unknown how the first collision occurred.
