Deputies Searching Suspect in Traffic Accident near West Little York Road
Harris County, TX (March 8, 2023) On Tuesday evening, a hit-and-run collision on Barker Cypress Road sent a male pedestrian to the hospital.
According to Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the traffic accident happened at about 8 p.m. near West Little York Road.
Officials say that the man was on a wheelchair going north on Barker Cypress Road. Reports say that a vehicle struck the back of his wheelchair, the impact of the collision knocked the man onto the roadway.
First responders found the man on the ground, no word on how long was the man on the ground, however, the vehicle who struck the pedestrian have already fled the scene.
Life Flight airlifted the patient to a hospital for immediate treatment.
Hsco is actively searching for the suspect driver and vehicle, at the moment, officials have not released a description of both.
Authorities are investigating the hit-and-run collision on Barker Cypress Road.
