Hit-and-Run Accident on State Route 18 Injures Motorcyclist [Auburn, WA]

Auburn, WA (June 26, 2023) On Saturday afternoon, a motorcyclist was airlifted after a hit-and-run accident on State Route 18.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), a 2-vehicle wrong-way crash happened around 4:30 p.m. on SR-18 to C Street.

Reports say that a beige sedan driving in the wrong lane collided with a motorcycle. The crash caused the rider severe leg injury and rescuers found the motorcyclist on the ground.

Medics airlifted the rider to Harborview Medical Center. Authorities have not released further details about the incident.

WSP is searching for the suspect driver and vehicle who remains at large.
