Hayward, CA (August 6, 2022) On Friday evening, a person died in a multi-car crash on Highway 92 / Interstate 880 interchange.

Authorities say that the collision involved 5 vehicles at the ramp connecting Eastbound 92 and Northbound 880 around 10 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) confirmed that one person died and multiple other people sustained injuries.

Paramedics transported the patients to the hospital for minor injuries.
