WSP Seeking Witnesses in Fatal Collision on SR-14
Skamania County, WA (October 22, 2022) On Saturday afternoon, a 2-vehicle accident on Highway 14 claimed the life of a motorist.
WSP say that the fatal collision happened at about 4:05 p.m. on eastbound State Route 14 at milepost 54.
Reports say that a red passenger car attempted to overtake an eastbound commercial vehicle. Meanwhile, a westbound passenger car was forced to the right shoulder to avoid collision with the red vehicle.
However, the westbound vehicle lost control, went over the centerline, and was struck by the commercial vehicle in the eastbound lane.
Consequently, the collision caused both vehicles to burst in flames. Officials say that the driver of the car sustained fatal injuries.
Authorities are seeking witnesses to the fatal collision on SR-14.
