Highway 101 Pursuit Crash Results in Fatality [Greenfield, CA]

Greenfield, CA (September 30, 2022) On Thursday afternoon, a pursuit crash on southbound Highway 101 ended with a reported fatality.

CHP-Monterey says that the fatal vehicle accident happened around 3:54 p.m. at Underwood Road south of Greenfield.

Authorities say that CHP is pursuing a white Prius before the incident. Additionally, the crash involved a damaged semi-truck, that stopped at the lefthand shoulder lane with significant damage to the front end.

Meanwhile, the collision crushed the Prius and tore it into 2. CHP did not confirm which driver died at the scene.

Authorities are investigating Highway 101 vehicle accident and at the moment, CHP has not released additional information about the crash.
