Pismo Beach, CA (July 29, 2022) On Friday afternoon, an ambulance responded to possible injuries in a multi-car crash on Highway 101.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), several vehicles were involved in the collision on southbound Highway 101.

Reports say that the collision involved 4-5 vehicles near the southbound Five Cities Drive off-ramp around 4:50 p.m.

Afterward, the CHP says that another 2-vehicle collision happened around 6:22 p.m.

An ambulance responded to the initial scene. Officials say that the crash caused traffic to back up between Five Cities Drive and Avila Beach Drive.
