Police Search for Suspect Following Highway 99 Pursuit Crash
Fresno, CA (December 3, 2020) – On Wednesday night, a high-speed chase between police and two suspects led to an injury crash on Highway 99.
The incident took place on December 2 at a southwest Fresno home where the pursuit started. According to a report, police received reports of gunshot around 9 PM however, they found no evidence of shooting when they responded to the area.
While in the area, police noticed a speeding car fleeing from the scene. As a result, they tried to stop the vehicle but the driver continued and eventually escaped from the pursuit.
After a short time, police found the vehicle again and tried to follow it before it crashes on Highway 99 near Highway 180.
The report says that there were two men inside the vehicle however, police captured only one of them. Moreover, police also found a pregnant woman inside the involved vehicle sustaining minor injuries from the crash. Officers transported the woman to a hospital for treatments.

Meanwhile, investigators are still looking for the second suspect involved in the incident. As of the moment, police have not yet released a description of the man.
Moreover, shell casings were found in the vehicle but detectives said that at this time, there is no connection to a possible shooting.
