Man Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver at Foxworthy Avenue and Rubino Drive
SAN JOSE, CA (November 27, 2019) – The man who died early Wednesday after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in South San Jose has been identified.
The Santa Clara Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Hieu Trung Dinh, 40, of San Jose.
Dinh was hit by a car at Foxworthy Avenue and Rubino Drive and found face down on the curb about 4:20 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car apparently fled the scene without stopping or calling 911, according to police. No description of the vehicle was available.
