A Semi-Truck and Sedan Collide on 15 North Freeway Near Oak Hill Road
HESPERIA, CA (December 31, 2017) – An accident involving an orange Honda Civic and an orange semi-truck with a white 48 foot trailer took place on Interstate 15 North, just south of Oak Hill Road.
The California Highway Patrol reported the semi-truck accident early Sunday morning at 12:39 AM.
The collision left the Honda undriveable and with severe damage. The semi-truck pulled over onto the right shoulder, while the Honda blocked lanes 4 and 5 of the freeway, with its detached bumper in the slow lane.
Injuries were sustained and ambulance personnel called.
All lanes were temporarily stopped while ambulances transported victims to a medical care facility and the Honda and debri were removed from the 15 freeway.
Reasons for the accident are still unclear as investigation continues by the authorities.
