Henry Punt, Steve Sanz, Jacquie Figg, and Kenneth Malinowski, Killed in Dinsmore Plane Crash
Dinsmore, CA (July 16, 2021) – Earlier today, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office identified 69-year-old Henry Punt of Los Angeles County, 63-year-old Steve Sanz of Orange County, 56-year-old Jacquie Figgs of San Bernardino County, and 62-year-old Kenneth Malinowski of Sacramento County, as the fatalities in a small plane crash near Dinsmore airport.
The single-engine Mooney M20J crashed late Thursday morning in in a wooded area of Northern California.
The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are still investigating the deadly accident.
Meanwhile, the Sheriff’s Office statement credited witnesses and community members who attempted to help the victims and potentially prevented the fire from progressing into a wildfire.
