Chris Wodka Arrested after Hit-And-Run Crash on Villago Parkway in Casa Grande

Casa Grande, AZ (May 17, 2023) – Saturday morning, a senior administrator of Central Arizona College, Chris Wodka, 58, is facing serious charges after allegedly being involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Villago Parkway.

The fatal hit-and-run crash on Villago Parkway happened around 12:56 a.m. on May 13.

Police stated that Vodka’s 2014 Honda Accord collided with Hector Tulla’s 2023 Triumph Trident motorcycle after Vodka allegedly failed to avoid Tualla, who was traveling north on Pinal Avenue, on Villago Parkway.

According to the Casa Grande Police Department, Tualla was thrown from his motorcycle and over Wodka’s vehicle by the impact. Tualla died at the scene of the accident.

After the accident, Vodka allegedly drove to his residence in his damaged vehicle, which reportedly had severe damage to the rear wheel. Shortly thereafter, he was arrested by the police.

Police said Vodka could also be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, depending on the results of a blood sample taken by police shortly after his arrest.

CAC confirmed on Wednesday that Wodka has been placed on administration leave.
