28-Year-Old Hector Santa Rosa Killed in Inglewood Car Accident
INGLEWOOD, CA (February 9, 2019) – On Saturday morning, 28-year-old Hector Eduardo Santa Rosa from Hawthorne died in a car crash on Rosewood Avenue.
According to the Inglewood Police Department, the accident happened around 2:20 AM near Century Boulevard.
According to reports, Santa Rosa was driving a Dodge Charger erratically and speeding. Due to the behavior, officers tried to stop the Charger for a suspected DUI but lost sight of it. Meanwhile, a few minutes later dispatch received a call about an accident involving a PT Cruiser and an overturned Charger.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department pronounced Santa Rosa dead at the scene.
Officers did not release information about any other possible injuries in the incident.
The surrounding area was closed off for a brief time for cleanup and preliminary investigation but has since reopened. In addition, no further details have been released at this time.
