Hector Perez Lazaro Injured in Highway 152 Fatal Crash [Merced County, CA]

Merced COunty, CA (September 20, 2022) On Sunday evening, 49-year-old Hector Perez Lazaro of Castaic was injured in a fatal crash on Highway 152.

The California Highway Patrol say that a 2007 Lexus GS350 rear-ended a 2020 Kia Optima near Dinosaur Point Road.

Reports say that both cars are eastbound, the iumpact of the collision caused the Kia to fell off a ditch.

Authorities say that Lazaro was driving the KIa, he sustained serious injuries due to the crash. Meanwhile, his passenger, a Castaic woman suffered fatal injuries.

Officials say that the driver of the Lexus fled the scene.
