Hector Soto Killed in Anaheim Pedestrian Accident on Beach Boulevard
ANAHEIM, CA (October 18, 2020) – Early Saturday morning, 21-year-old Hector Chong Soto died in a pedestrian crash on Beach Boulevard and West Stonybrook Drive.
According to Anaheim Police Sgt. Shane Carringer, they received the report at around 1:55 a.m. The hit-and-run accident happened on Beach Boulevard and West Stonybrook Drive.
Apparently, a vehicle struck Hector Chong Soto. Afterward, the driver left the scene, but later returned.
Unfortunately, responders pronounced the young Anaheim pedestrian dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, Carringer believes that drugs and alcohol didn’t play a role in the crash.
The fatal accident is under active investigation.
The Anaheim police claim the crash does not appear to be a DUI or drug-related.
