Heber Wildcat Road UTV Accident Claims 8-Year-Old Girl’s Life [Forest Lakes, AZ]

Forest Lakes, AZ (September 6, 2022) On Sunday, a UTV accident on Heber Wildcat Road claimed the life of an 8-year-old girl and injured several others.

Authorities responded to an off-highway vehicle crash on Forest Service Road 99 north of Forest Lakes.

Coconino County Sheriff’s Office says found several minors injured in the crash. Medics performed CPR on an 8-year-old girl, unfortunately, despite the life-saving efforts, the minor succumbed to her injuries. Officials pronounced the girl dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, another 8-year-old girl and 2 14-year-old teenage girls suffered injuries. Paramedics airlifted the patients to Phoenix Children’s hospital.

CCSO confirmed that all patients involved are from the Phoenix area. Officials are investigating the incident and have not released further information about the crash.
