Heather Ogborn Injured in SR 97 Rollover Accident [Omak, WA]

Nicholas Shelter Hurt in 2-Vehicle Collision on Highway 97

Omak, WA (August 4, 2023) On Wednesday afternoon, 37-year-old Heather Ogborn of Tonasket, and 29-year-old Nicholas Shelter of Omak, were hurt in a rollover accident on SR 97.

WSP says that the 2-vehicle collision happened at about 1:30 p.m. on the northbound lanes of SR 97, near the town of Riverside.

Reports say that Shelter fell asleep while driving causing his vehicle to travel onto the opposite lane and collided with an SUV driven by Ogborn.

The impact of the crash caused Ogborn’s SUV to roll over and crashed into the guardrail, eventually resting on the wrong way of the southbound shoulder.

Medics transported Heather Ogborn and Nicholas Shelter to North Valley Hospital. Both drivers suffered injuries due to the collision.
