[UPDATE] Heather Martinez Dead After Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Highway 180
FRESNO, CA (June 29, 2020) – On Sunday morning, Heather Martinez died in a crash on Highway 180 near Centerville.
According to CHP officers, 42-year-old Heather Martinez traveled on Highway 180 near Piedra. However, she stopped on the road at about 2:30 a.m.
Afterward, Martinez exited her car and walked into lanes of traffic. Unfortunately, 32-year-old Kenia Rodriguez then struck her.
The authorities revealed that Rodriguez briefly stopped. However, she continued driving down the highway.
Eventually, the officers managed to catch her and they found out that she was under the influence.
At this time, it’s still unclear why Heather Martinez walked onto the road. Thus, the authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash on Highway 180.
