1 Person Hurt in Yakima Pedestrian Accident on 1600 South 24th Avenue near Tahoma Cemetery
YAKIMA, WA (May 1, 2024) – On Monday, authorities arrested Heather Lea Marquez after an alarming pedestrian crash on 1600 South 24th Avenue.
The incident happened in the 1600 block of South 24th Avenue, near the Calvary and Tahoma Cemeteries.
According to reports, a car veered off the roadway and struck an ATV.
Moreover, responders transported an 18-year-old male occupant of the ATV to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Furthermore, officers arrested and booked the driver of the car, identified as 53-year-old Marquez, into Yakima County Department of Corrections, for vehicular assault and reckless endangerment.
