Dodge Driver Dies in Route E Vehicle Crash
Moniteau County, MO (July 17, 2024) – Heather Beauchamp, 34, of Tipton, was injured in a fatal crash on Highway 50 and Route E.
Investigating officers said a 2011 Dodge Caravan driven by Michael Burk, 66, of Janesville, Wisconsin, was northbound while a 2014 Ford F150 driven by Beauchamp was eastbound.
The Dodge traveled off Route E toward the path of the Ford.
Responding officers declared Burk deceased at the scene. Troopers said he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
His body was taken to Windmill Ridge Funeral Home.
Beauchamp sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to University Hospital. Investigators said she was wearing a seatbelt and was in fair condition on Wednesday afternoon
