Cle Elum, WA (August 28, 2023) On Sunday evening, a head-on crash on Highway 903 left an 86-year-old man lifeless.

According to the WSP, the deadly collision happened around 10:35 p.m. on State Route 903 between Cle Elum and Roslyn, officials closed the highway for about 2 hours.

Reports say that 2 vehicles going in opposite directions collided head-on at milepost 4 near the Cle Elum city limits.

Officials say that an 86-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, meanwhile, a 71-year-old woman and a 73-year-old man in the other car escaped injuries.

Authorities are investigating the deadly collision and have not released additional details at this time.
