4 People Hurt in Fatal Big Rig Crash on East Weile Avenue
Spokane County, WA (January 25, 2024) On Wednesday morning, a disastrous head-on Crash on Bigelow Gulch Road left a erson dead and 4 others hurt, 2 of which are in crititcal condition.
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), the fatal crash happened around 5:30 a.m. on Bigelow Gulch and East Weile Avenue.
Reports say that a westbound big rig with 2 occupants, crossed the center line and crashed head-on with an Acura with 3 occupants.
Officials say that all occupants of the Acura sustained life-threatening injuries and were rushed to the hospital, one of the 3 patients ultimately succumbed to their injuries and was declared dead at the hospital, while the 2 other patients are listed in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the 2 adult occupants of the semi suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital as well.
Authorities are investigating the fatal big rig crash and believes speed and conditions were believed to be factors in the crash.
