Woman Hurt in Deadly Motorcycle Accident on State Route 109
Ocean Shores, WA (September 5, 2023) On Saturday afternoon, a 47-year-old woman died and a 47-year-old man was hurt, both from Falls City, Oregon after a head-on collision on State Route 109.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the deadly accident happened around 4:20 p.m. on State Route 109 at State Route 115.
Reports say that a 46-year-old female Aberdeen driver failed to yield as she turned left and collided head-on with a motorcyclist and his passenger.
Officials say that the woman female passenger died at the scene, while the male motorcyclist was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Meanwhile, the Aberdeen driver and her 56-year-old male passenger from Hoquiam escaped injuries, officials also say that a 3rd driver was involved in the crash but the 46-year-old man from Hoquiam was not hurt.
Authorities are investigating the deadly motorcycle accident and have not given additional information at this time.
