2 People Injured in Fatal 2-Vehicle Crash on Telegraph Road
Santa Paula, CA (December 22, 2023) On Wednesday morning, a head-on collision on Highway 126, also called Telegraph Road, claimed the life of a 29-year-old Santa Clarita woman, while leaving 2 driver hurt.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal 2-vehicle crash happened around 8:35 a.m. near the intersection with Boosey Road.
Reports say that a westbound 2018 Honda Civic, driven by a 35-year-old Santa Clarita man crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 1999 Ford F-150 pickup truck being driven by a 44-year-old Fillmore man.
Officials say that the Santa Clarita woman was a passenger on the Honda, authorities declared the woman dead at the scene, while a other people were transported to Ventura County Medical Center with major injuries.
Authorities say that rescuers had to extricate the victims out of the wrecked vehicles. Additionally, 2 other motorists were involved in the crash, but both drivers escaped injuries.
