Rio Vista, CA (June 11, 2023) On Saturday afternoon, a 2-car head-on collision on Highway 12 left 3 people injured.

CHP says that the 2-vehicle crash happened east of Jackson Slough Road on Highway 12 south of Isleton.

According to the River Delta Fire District, 3 people were trapped and extricated from the wreckage of the 2-vehicle crash.

Medics say that a person was airlifted to a hospital, while the other 2 were transported via ground ambulance.

The CHP is investigating the 2-vehicle crash.
