Fatal Head-On Collision on Guerneville Road Caused by DUI [Santa Rosa, CA]

Female Driver Dies in Suspected DUI Collision Near Laguna Road

Santa Rosa, CA (May 14, 2024) On Monday morning, a female driver was killed after a horrific head-on collision on Guerneville Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the suspected DUI collision happened at about 5:40 a.m. near Laguna Road just east of State Road 116.

Reports say that a vehicle crossed the double yellow line and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

Authorities say that the driver of the vehicle that crossed over suffered injuries, while the female driver of the other vehicle was declared dead at the scene.

Officials arrested the suspect driver on suspicion of driving under the influence.

CHP is investigating the fatal crash and has not released further details about the crash.
