HAYWARD, CA – Pregnant Woman Hurt in Two-Car Crash on 880 Freeway at Industrial Parkway

Sedan and SUV Collide on 880 Freeway in Hayward Sending Pregnant Woman to Hospital

 
HAYWARD, CA (March 8, 2019) – A pregnant woman was hurt following a two-car crash late Friday afternoon in Hayward.
 
The crash happened around 5:07 p.m. on northbound 880 Freeway at Industrial Parkway on-ramp.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Toyota Corolla and a gray SUV collided and were blocking the slow lane in the freeway.
 
A female occupant in the Corolla, who’s 8 months pregnant, was taken by paramedics to San Leandro Hospital with a complaint of pain.
 
The specific cause of the crash and who may be at fault remain under investigation.
