Three Vehicles Involved in Afternoon Collision on Highway 92 in Hayward

 
HAYWARD, CA (March 24, 2019) – Multiple injuries were reported following a three-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon in Hayward.
 
The collision happened around 1:36 p.m. on westbound Highway 92 near the Toll Plaza.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Toyota Camry, a silver Nissan and another vehicle collided for unknown reasons.
 
An ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene and gave aid to several parties who sustained injuries from the crash. At least one patient was taken to Eden Hospital with a complaint of pain and minor visible injuries.
 
The Camry sustained major front-end damage and the Nissan had major front and rear damage. Both damaged cars were towed away from the crash site.
 
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
