Car-Pedestrian Crash on Old Redwood Highway
Santa Rosa, CA (October 10, 2022) On Sunday evening, a pedestrian accident on Hatchery Road killed a man and injured a woman.
Reports say that the car-pedestrian crash happened at around 7:56 p.m. in front of 5736 Old Redwood Highway in Sonoma County.
CHP say that a northbound Volvo occupied by two people hit 2 pedestrians crossing Hatchery Road.
Moreover, the pedestrians were coming from a a parking lot of an establishment across the street when the crash occurred.
Officials pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the woman who sustained major injuries to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
Authorities say that both Volvo occupants did not sustain injuries, and the driver did not show signs of impairment.
