Harold Hagler of Longview Killed in Highway 10 Pedestrian Accident [Smith County, TX]

Raquel Santos of Tyler Involved in Smith County Fatal Collision

Smith County, TX (June 29, 2023) – On Monday night, Harold O. Hagler, 52, of Longview, sustained fatal injuries following a Highway 10 pedestrian accident.

The traffic accident happened at about 9:37 p.m. north of Tyler.

The Texas DPS officers said that Raquel Santos, 31, of Tyler, was travelling south on the freeway when she struck a pedestrian.

Apparently, the victim, Harold Hagler, was walking across the roadway at the time of the crash. He was declared dead at the scene.

Moreover, officers said that Santos did not sustain any injuries. 

Officers are still investigating the cause of the cause of the collision.
