[UPDATE] Cottonwood Man Hans Buschhaus Fatally Struck in Interstate 5 Crash
Redbluff, CA (April 08, 2021) – On Tuesday, 40-year-old Adrienne Randall from Oregon was involved in a fatal pedestrian accident on Interstate 5.
The fatal crash happened minutes after 11:30 p.m. a mile north of Sunset Hills Drive.
Apparently, a vehicle struck a man who was walking along the southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway.
Moreover, the driver of the vehicle, Randall, was not arrested. Also, officers do not believe drugs or alcohol to be a factor in the crash.
Meanwhile, police revealed the identity of the deceased as 78-year-old Hans Buschhaus, of Cottonwood.
Police closed southbound lanes of Sunset Hills Drive closed 12:14 a.m. due to the accident. They reopened all lanes after 3 A.M.
