Morning 2-Car Crash in Hacienda Heights Sends One to Hospital

 
HACIENDA HEIGHTS, CA (March 15, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a two-car crash Friday morning in Hacienda Heights, CHP officials said.
 
The crash happened around 8:17 a.m. at the intersection of Colima Road and Avalo Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Chrysler 300 and a white Jeep were involved.
 
While the cause of the crash has not yet been determined, responding paramedics took one patient to Whittier Hospital Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
The Jeep was no longer drivable after the crash and was towed away from the scene.
 
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
