Habimana Ciza Dies in Hit-And-Run Crash on 35th Avenue in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (November 8, 2023) – On Wednesday morning, Habimana Ciza died in a hit-and-run crash on 35th Avenue and Camelback Road.

Phoenix police said they were called to the area of 35th Avenue and Camelback Road in west Phoenix around 4:30 a.m.

When the officers arrived, they found Habimana Ciza with serious injuries, and he was taken to hospital, where he later died.

According to police, Ciza was traveling on Camelback Road when he was hit.

54-year-old Graciela Garcia-Marquez was later arrested for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.

No additional information is immediately available.
