GUSTINE, CA – One Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 152 at Gonzaga Road

Morning 2-Vehicle Wreck on Highway 152 in Gustine Ends in Fatality

 
GUSTINE, CA (February 2, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a two-vehicle collision Saturday morning in Gustine.
 
The collision happened around 6:45 a.m. on eastbound Highway 152 at Gonzaga Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white 4-door car and another vehicle collided, at least one of them struck a guardrail. One of the vehicles also reportedly abandoned with hazard lights on.
 
Cal Fire responded to the scene and found at least one fatality as a result of the accident. A coroner was immediately notified to pick up the victim’s remains.
 
The first lane of the highway was closed for the clearing operation.
 
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident to determine the factors involved and liability.
