Gustavo Ruelas Charged with Murder for Inglewood Accident That Left Ryan Davis Dead
INGLEWOOD, CA (April 29, 2021) – Wednesday night, a pursuit crash on Olive Street and Glasgow Avenue led to the death of Ryan Davis and Asia Gonzales.
According to police reports, the incident began with a pursuit. Then, it ended in a deadly crash by the 405 Freeway and Glasgow Avenue, near LAX.
As a result of the police chase crash, two innocent bystanders in a white sedan died.
Later reports identified the victims as Asia Gonzales and Gonzales’ boyfriend Ryan Davis.
Meanwhile, the authorities arrested the pursuit suspect.
They charged Gustavo Ruelas, 42, with a number of felony charges, including DUI of narcotics.
As of Friday afternoon, prosecutors said Ruelas is set to be arraigned Monday. His charges include two counts of murder, fleeing a pursuing police officer’s motor vehicle, causing death, as well as a hit-and-run driving resulting in death.
